What could I use as a conclusion for an essay about faults?
This is my first paragraph: "There are three different types of faults. They are a normal fault, a reverse fault, and a thrust fault. There are multiple reasons why a fault occurs. The rocks move in different ways for each type of fault. The different types of faults also have different characteristics." The second paragraph is about what a fault is and what causes it to occur, the third is about the movement of rocks resulting from different types of faults, and the fourth is about the characteristics of a normal, reverse, and thrust fault.

- I can't write a conclusion for you! A conclusion should really recap what you've already dealt with - but in brief. Then follow it up with a personal opinion at the end - maybe about why knowing about faults is important and what it tells us about the nature of the solid earth? Hope that helps...
- i am not sure but you should think.
- Did you consider using dip-slip. strike-slip, and oblique faults as your three types of faults? It sounds like you totally ignored the existence of faults of the same type as what is probably the most well known one, the San Andreas Fault (strike-slip). Normal, reverse and thrust faults cover only dip-slip faults. Anyway, I would close with some thoughts and opinions, like about why the faults are divided into groups the way they are.
